Hub Database for Bicycle Wheels

Search through the database of 911 hubs from 98 different manufactures.

The measurements for the hubs have come from a range of sources.

  • Directly from the manufacture
  • Hub measurements I have added over time
  • An outdated excel sheet from here
  • And from you
There is more information on how to measure a hub on this page. Finally, you will find a mixture of hubs designed for j bend and straight pull spokes. For the time being, only use j bend hubs, otherwise the calculation will be incorrect. This will change soon™.

Search

Search through the make and models. Be warned. you will need to enter more than two letter for the search to work! So, looking for xt will not return a result. However, entering Shimano xt will.

Select Spoke Count and Types

Most hubs will come with multiple spoke counts, so your results will return multiple results. Also, for the time being, remember not use use straight pull spokes as the calculations will be incorrect!

Choose spoke hole counts
What spoke head types are used?

Select Front or Rear hub, Choose Axle, Gear and Brake Types

After using the search feature, these will be your most used filters to find your hub. You do not need to select the axle type when selecting a front or rear hub.

Select Axle Type

Enter hub measurements

These need to be precise measurements. In the future I may add a feature where it returns results within +- 1mm. The hub width measurement may come in handy, if you have not selected an axle type.
